General Warranty Policies
PartsAmerica.com will pass on to its customers each manufacturer’s standard limited warranty, if any, for parts.
Warranty
return value will be based on the terms of the manufacturer warranty. In some
cases, it will be prorated based on the length of use and will be less than
original purchase price. Return value will be credited to the credit card used
to make the original purchase.
Warranties listed herein only apply to the original purchaser for private, non-commercial use, and only to the vehicle in which the product was originally installed and/or used within.
Warranties are limited to the retail price paid for the product. NEITHER WARRANTOR NOR MANUFACTURER SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, INDIRECT AND SPECIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM DEFECTS IN THE PRODUCT. This warranty does not cover miscellaneous expenses for removal, installation, service, towing or down time, nor does it cover material, labor, or additional parts required for replacement or repair of damages caused by abuse (including fire or wreckage), misuse, neglect, or failure to follow manufacture’s operating and /or installation instructions.
If a product you purchased through PartsAmerica.com fails during the warranty period, you may receive an adjustment by returning the product to PartsAmerica.com or any of our affiliated retail locations with your receipt. To receive the adjustment, all terms of the warranty must be met.

Performance Parts
Unless otherwise specified, the manufacturer warrants most performance parts for 90 days from the date of
purchase. If parts are used for racing or competition, they are warranted against
manufacturer's defects only. Performance parts are not warranted for wear or breakage
under any circumstance. If you would like to return any part, please follow our Returns
Policy before you ship or attempt to return them to one of Advance Auto Parts, Checker Auto
Parts, Schuck's Auto Supply or Kragen Auto Parts stores. Any part that, in our opinion,
shows evidence of being used, modified or installed contrary to manufacturer's instructions
will not be eligible for warranty or refund consideration.
Non-Performance Parts
Unless otherwise specified, the manufacturer warrants many original equipment
replacement parts for one year or two years, depending on the manufacturer, from the date
of purchase. If parts are used for racing or off-road use, they are warranted against
manufacturer's defects only. If you would like to return any part, please follow our
Returns Policy before you ship or attempt to
return them to one of the Advance Auto Parts, Checker Auto Parts, Schuck's Auto Supply or
Kragen Auto Parts stores. Any part that, in our opinion, shows evidence of being used,
modified or installed contrary to manufacturer's instructions will not be eligible for
warranty or refund consideration.

Policy:
To take advantage of our one-year limited air conditioning compressor warranty, the receiver drier/accumulator and expansion valve/orifice tube, must be replaced at the time of installation. We require proof of purchase of the above referenced items and may require a manufacturer’s inspection of the related items under certain conditions. Otherwise, our air conditioning compressors carry no warranty.

Policy:
CSK Alternator/Starter Roadside Assistance is available 24-hours-a-day, 365-days-a-year,
anywhere in the United States and Canada, for two (2) years from the date of purchase of
your CSK alternator or starter. To be eligible for reimbursement you MUST call the toll-free
24-hour roadside assistance service number provided to receive roadside assistance. Service
is for passenger vehicles, vans and light trucks only. Service includes a jump-start and
a tow. This service is provided on a reimbursement basis. You are required to pay the
service provider at the time service is rendered and send in for reimbursement. Service
is limited to a maximum reimbursement of $60.00 US/$90.00 CN currency.

Policy:
Warranty is in effect from date of original purchase and expires at the end
of warranty period stated on battery label. PartsAmerica warrants that it will
replace the battery at no charge if it fails during the free replacement term
as shown on the battery label. After the expiration of the free replacement
period, PartsAmerica will replace the battery for a prorated amount as stated
on the adjustment chart found on the battery label. A battery that fails because
of improper installation, another faulty part, low fluid levels or other abuse
is not covered by this warranty. Warranty does not apply to non-marine batteries
installed in marine applications.

Policy:
The warranty on brake friction parts is limited to manufacturer
defects only. The warranty does not cover friction parts with
normal wear or that are worn unevenly, which may be an indication
of faulty brake calipers.

To obtain a warranty adjustment for a clutch disc, pressure plate or
clutch kit, proof that the flywheel was machined at the time of the
installation is required and MUST be presented at the time of the
warranty adjustment request.
